Creative Interpretation Of Law Of Attraction
March 8, 2010 by admin
No one is devoid of desires and dreams. The goals may be material or spiritual, or both. The average person seeks the material and the spiritual seeker looks for manifesting God through the practice of spirituality, via meditation or prayer. All seem to be seeking fulfillment of their dreams in one way or the other.
The art of manifestation consists of creating physical reality by deftly employing the power of mind. Everything proceeds from the mind and is therefore, its creation. The creation of realities, however, depends on so many factors. We draw to us what we expect, so be careful about what you ask for, as you might get it!
How to reach out to your goal? First, have faith in yourself, have positive thoughts and visualize success. Shun thoughts that discourage you. Vague and negative thoughts are a hindrance. Your intentions and expectations have to be firm and clear before you can create your own reality.
According to the Law of Attraction (LOA) also, creative visualization and affirmation are the keys to manifestation. Creative visualization requires good concentration and imagination to visualize your goal so intensely that your subconscious mind believes it is possible. Affirmation gives direction to your thoughts.
The LOA is also based on the law of karma, of the principle of cause and effect. Positive thoughts send positive signals to the universe. The power of your mind then acts on the universe to manifest your desires. Visualizing negative results can bring negative sequence of “coincidences” that stand in the way of manifesting dreams.
We are made up of energy that acts on the basis of changes in the vibration frequency that is taking place every moment. The best way to successfully manifest dreams is to alter any situation by consciously clearing your energy field. The Reiki technique the art of tapping into universal life force energy for healing is a simple and effective way to clear your energy field by aligning your vibration frequency.
Reiki can help you acquire divine guidance and enable the manifesting process in an easy and safe manner. But the ethics of Reiki demand that you do not ask for something that may deprive someone else. For example, asking for someone else’s job by taking away his position is not only unethical but can also have karmic consequences.
A manifestation triangle duly energised with Reiki is an effective tool to manifest your positive desires. Reiki being positive energy does not permit anything negative to manifest. As intention, affirmation and love make Reiki move, the triangle can work well even for those who are not into Reiki.
The advantage of manifesting through a triangle is that it enables you to focus on visualisation of your goal, reinforces it and crystallises the outcome. All obstacles get dissolved since Reiki is known to remove all energy blockages.
The simple steps involved are:
1. Draw a triangle on a piece of paper writing your name at its left corner, the goal in brief at the right corner.
2. Also write inside the triangle that you are manifesting this for the highest good of all.
3. Connect to Reiki by intent raising your hands upwards, palms towards the sky. Feel the warmth or tingling sensation in your palms.
4. Now placing the paper between your palms, give Reiki to it for five minutes twice a day. Trust that your goal is taking shape.
5. Gassho give thanks in prayer position.
6. Repeat the process for a few days till your goal is manifested.
Happy manifesting.

Stop Crossing Bridges
March 1, 2010 by admin

By D. Paul Reilly:
I can imagine many people being somewhat puzzled by the title of today’s article ‘Stop crossing bridges’. Some may be saying to themselves right now, what is Reilly alluding to here today when he tells us to ‘Stop Crossing Bridges’. Surely the only way to get to the other side is by crossing the bridge? Well that’s true, that is of course if you’re actually at the bridge. I’m sure we’ve all heard that well known saying “I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it”….perhaps now you’re beginning to get the gist of what I’m really writing about here today.
So many people start to mentally torture themselves day in and day out, by mentally contemplating, thinking about all of the things which could go wrong, as they commence an important project. Now, whilst it’s most prudent to be proactive and thus always have a ‘Plan B’ ready and in place, so to speak, to deal with any eventuality; if we constantly insist on dwelling on everything wrong that may happen in the future, we will cloud our consciousness with negativity….this is obviously not good.
We should never lose sight of a most important Universal Law, namely The Law of Attraction. This Universal Law states quite simply, that ‘We ATTRACT towards us people, circumstances, and events in accordance with our THINKING’. So, we have to be extremely careful at all times of exactly what we’re thinking about. So, stop thinking about what may go wrong, ‘Stop Crossing Bridges’ which only exist in your imagination.
Yes indeed, the thoughts conveyed by the saying “We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it” are indeed very wise sentiments to consider. We MUST stop putting up ‘Mental Blocks’ on the road to success, which will quite definitely impede our forward motion toward our cherished dreams. We MUST stop crossing imaginary bridges, which don’t in reality exist right now, they’re just a figment of our very active imagination.
Yes we are proactive, we formulate solutions to future problems we may encounter, in our mind. But then we forget about it, become totally positive in outlook, and forge steadily forward in the direction of our dreams, whilst we take care to only entertain in our fertile mind, Totally Positive Thoughts and Concepts of our Future Success. This is the only way to a bright future. Yes indeed it most certainly is! So, in conclusion, stop crossing bridges until you actually come to them.
THINK ABOUT IT!

Dr. Rick Schaefer Gives a Tip on Finding Daily Happiness With One Goal A Day

Dr. Rick Schaefer, author of Extreme Thought Makeover, explains how to experience more happiness every single day with one simple activity.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 22, 2010 ) Milwaukee, WI - Dr. Rick Schaefer, author of the very popular program Extreme Thought Makeover, began “Sometimes, the pressures of our professional and personal lives can start to feel a little overwhelming, can they not? Between work and family and school, life can get a little hectic. This is why many people tend to find themselves overtaken by negative habits such as procrastination, or find themselves simply overtaken by negative thoughts. To turn your life around and really find joy, you need you change your outlook immediately. One of the best ways to find a fulfilling and happy life is to change your thinking and keep your mind full of positive energy and thoughts at any given moment in the day. It is very trendy these days to be stressed or depressed, but these thoughts are anything but productive.”
“One of the key ways to finding joy lies in a very simple principle: The law of attraction. The law of attraction basically says that you will receive what you put out into the universe, as in, positive thoughts and aspirations will draw in positive experiences and rewards, while negative thoughts and energy will draw in negative experiences and unwanted results. If you are on a quest to find happiness through positive thinking, here is a quick tip that will put you on the right path towards achieving this goal:”
“Find Happiness With One Goal a Day. Here is a quick way to begin your journey towards happiness and fulfillment. Every morning when you wake up, before you get out of bed, think of one goal that you would like to see fulfilled that day. Maybe you want to achieve something really out of the ordinary at work, or maybe you just want to tack on an extra fifteen minutes on your daily walk with Fido. Whatever this goal is, promise yourself that you will achieve it. Here is a bonus tip: the sooner you finish this goal, the better. The feeling of achievement is a powerful one, and getting a sense of fulfillment early in the day can help to create a positive tone and energy for the rest of your day. Who knows? You may even find yourself completing two, three, or ten goals before the day is through!”
Dr. Schaefer concluded “The road to personal fulfillment and joy is a simple one which requires attention and practice, practice, practice. But if you are willing to fully commit yourself to practicing and to these goals, you will soon see an increase in your sense of personal happiness.”

Links to Spirituality Found in the Brain
February 17, 2010 by admin
Scientists have identified areas of the brain that, when damaged, lead to greater spirituality. The findings hint at the roots of spiritual and religious attitudes, the researchers say.
The study, published in the Feb. 11 issue of the journal Neuron, involves a personality trait called self-transcendence, which is a somewhat vague measure of spiritual feeling, thinking, and behaviors. Self-transcendence “reflects a decreased sense of self and an ability to identify one’s self as an integral part of the universe as a whole,” the researchers explain.
Before and after surgery, the scientists surveyed patients who had brain tumors removed. The surveys generate self-transcendence scores.
Selective damage to the left and right posterior parietal regions of the brain induced a specific increase in self-transcendence, or ST, the surveys showed.
“Our symptom-lesion mapping study is the first demonstration of a causative link between brain functioning and ST,” said Dr. Cosimo Urgesi from the University of Udine in Italy. “Damage to posterior parietal areas induced unusually fast changes of a stable personality dimension related to transcendental self-referential awareness. Thus, dysfunctional parietal neural activity may underpin altered spiritual and religious attitudes and behaviors.”
Previous neuroimaging studies had linked activity within a large network in the brain that connects the frontal, parietal, and temporal cortexes with spiritual experiences, “but information on the causative link between such a network and spirituality is lacking,” explains lead study author, Urgesi said.
One study, reported in 2008, suggested that the brain’s right parietal lobe defines “Me,” and people with less active Me-Definers are more likely to lead spiritual lives.
The finding could lead to new strategies for treating some forms of mental illness.
“If a stable personality trait like ST can undergo fast changes as a consequence of brain lesions, it would indicate that at least some personality dimensions may be modified by influencing neural activity in specific areas,” said Dr. Salvatore M. Aglioti from Sapienza University of Rome. “Perhaps novel approaches aimed at modulating neural activity might ultimately pave the way to new treatments of personality disorders.”

Families Ask Vegas ‘Robin Hood’ For Help
Gambler Gives Winnings To Needy
LAS VEGAS — He is known only as Robin Hood 702, a professional gambler, and like his name suggests, he wants to help those in need by taking from the rich and giving to the poor.
Video:

He does it with a high-stakes game of blackjack — and is now offering his winnings to a Las Vegas family in need. The 702 in his name refers to the area code for Sin City phone numbers.
There are thousands of personal stories from the unemployed, the sick and the emotionally drained on Robin Hood 702’s Web site.
“Most of the time, people can’t believe you would want to do something nice for them,” Robin Hood said.
Robin Hood does his deeds anonymously. He has been coming to Las Vegas on a gamble, because he will give the cash he uses during the game away — whether he wins or loses.

He said he does it to make his mother proud.
“I’m just blessed to be able to do things like this in her memory, and it’s nice touching strangers that don’t have any reason to be helped for any reason other than because they need your help,” Robin Hood said.
Last year, he surprised a family from Detroit with a trip to Las Vegas, $35,000 and new hope. With their daughter suffering from brain cancer, the Kegler family struggled with medical bills.
And now, Robin Hood 702 is doing it again, and this time, it’s for a Las Vegas family.
“If I’m calling myself Robin Hood 702, I think I at least deserve to help a family in Vegas,” he said. “They’re losing homes, losing their jobs, losing everything — their kids can’t go to school. They have no money for the insurance for the car. I mean, it’s tragic.”
And 702 said he wants to turn tragedy into triumph, with the help of his own gang of “merry men” like Dr. Richard Schulze, who was inspired to donate to his cause and sponsor another family in need.
“Many of the people submitting are hours away from being on the street,” Schulze said.
Together, they hope to help revive the spirit of Las Vegas.“
If Vegas is doing good, normally it means the rest of the country is doing good,” Robin Hood said.
You can submit your story at Robin Hood 702
He said he will pick the winner sometime next month.

What the hell am I doing wrong?!

My hair’s a mess! Can’t find any clothes to wear! The kids aren’t getting up! The dogs are chasing the cat! And what the hell are you laughing at?
And Joe Vitale says I attracted it! ( Time to read some good books! I thought.) Then I caught myself. I became aware . I laughed. ( What just happened?) Catch yourself. Change your thoughts. Change your life.
…then I found a hair tie. And my jeans. The kids made it to the bus on time. The cat outsmarted the dogs again. 8am and all is quiet and miraculously sane again.
‘Forgive me for my thoughts’, I said to Mocha, my puppy. Poured a cup of tea. Grabbed my book. And sat by the fire.
Something’s not right. I am not usually stressed. What it is that I need to learn? I sat for a moment, quietly.
I felt guilty, knowing that I should be dressed and all set by 9, not just getting ready. But I allow myself this hour each morning, to read. And no, I don’t feel like getting up at 6 to squeeze my time in. Just one little idiocyncrasy that I don’t feel the need to change.
Yes, I attracted this, now that I think about it. I did leave the rollers in too long. And my closet is a mess. I let the kids stay up late last night. And I stayed up late too. That’s it. Nothing too traumatic. We all have mornings like this, from time to time. Don’t we? It’s minor. Trivial.
But I can’t stop thinking about other things we attract. Like wars, car accidents, fights, etc. I am not responsible for this stuff! Am I? No, it’s way too big to even think I had a part in it. Joe Vitale is stretching the Law of Attraction way too far! How on earth could we be responsible for that?!
I need another tea. A few more fleeting thoughts. Wait a minute. If I wasn’t aware of my stupidity this morning, my day would continue totally chaotic. It happened before. Has this happened to you too? Being able to stand back and laugh. Just be aware of what was happening…was enough to control it. Amazing!
Just by being aware. For a second. And being able to laugh it off. Change emotions. Then suddenly everything changes. It’s like putting on a frantic face, and experiencing chaos. Change it to a happy face, and start laughing and enjoying yourself again. Send out negative vibes, or energy, and you get back the same. Like a magnet. Or a mirror.
Now, I’m beginning to see what Joe Vitale means. Yes, of course I attracted this morning. And changed my energy. And am enjoying it better now because of my awareness to change it.(And I thought I was open minded!)
Now that I am on the right track again, explain to me how we attracted the worlds’ mess! The recession, the economic recovery, the wars, the political drauma, the sadness, the sickness, etc. Now that’s hard to swallow. Yet I’ve read it from many books that say we are to blame. Even scientists back this up. Are they gone crazy? I’m educated too. You don’t expect me to believe this… do you?
‘Individual Responsibility’? you say. ( For the worlds’ collective actions? C’mon now, I wasn’t born yesterday!)Now hear me out. As we each overspend, it creates a global economic epidemic. Through this spending atmosphere, fear spreads and worry sets in. People get scared. Law of Attraction puts forth what we send the Universe. More fear. Fear turns into war, as we hoard what we have. This insanity causes wars. And the spiral continues.( Holy shit? It does make sense. It could happen. But, na’ I wouldn’t say we created it.)
What if I became responsible for my actions. And took heed in my thoughts and words. And really did buy into this Law of Attraction stuff. Always got out of bed happy. Spread this happiness on to my kids. They could share it with the bus students. And their friends at school. The teachers could catch this happiness and bring it home to their families. Maybe get on their ipods and emails and spread it a little further.
What if we made a promise to ourselves, for one day, yup, just one. There would be no complaining, no gossip, no criticizing, no ridiculing, no bullying, …nothing negative. Only smiling, thinking positive, singing, trying, giving, empathizing, giving back, allowing, accepting, …all those positive happy feelings. How many people could one person impact? Just think.
It gives me goose bumps to know I could affect hundreds of lives indirectly a day. Even if I decided to stay indoors today. And what if you decided to do it with me? Maybe we could get a few friends to join us. Maybe I could write an article about this ‘happiness for one day’. Maybe you could share it with your group. Just maybe it may impact more than we know. Just maybe this positive energy would circulate the globe.
People would spread it even further. They would be sharing smiles and laughter. There would be love and peace. They would be too busy having fun to worry about lack. There would be plenty to go around for everyone. There would be no arguments because people would be happy. There would be no jobless, because people would be helping each other. There would be no crime, because people expressed gratitude and were giving back. There would be no place for war, only peace. I would want to be responsible for that. Wouldn’t you?
Now I could picture that scenario if we all worked together and spread happiness. Oh yes, I know you would want recognition for this as well. And Joe Vitale will be right, we did create it. And it began with you and me. Now that’s amazing! I know you’d want to take credit for that!
And it all began with the realization, and I had to ask, ‘What the hell am I doing wrong?’. Humbly, spreading the wrong thoughts, I think. I can change that. We all can. One person at a time.

Visualize every day
New Year’s is typically the time when Americans voice their wishes to change their lives. Some of the most common changes include losing weight, getting healthier and stopping bad habits.
Most people start out with the best intentions to change, but stop trying to make these changes within the first two or three weeks. The reason for this is because they have not fought through the tough part to create new habits.
This week, I will talk about step six, which is “Visualization/Power of the Mind.” I define this as the practice and ability to mentally project positive outcomes with conviction and truth. In other words, being able to close your eyes and see a result come true and believe it.
This step, in my opinion, is the hardest step to grasp. Very few people in the world understand what this means. Most people are just robots who go through life aimlessly without knowing of this power source in life.
Let me give you a couple of examples. Back when I was training for the Mr. Colorado competition, I would take a few minutes every morning, close my eyes and visualize myself up on stage. I would mentally see the crowd, see the judges and smell the back stage pump-up room. I could see the head judge giving me the winning trophy. I did this every day for 16 weeks. After about four weeks of doing this, I began to truly believe I was going to win. I changed my belief system, because I reprogrammed my mind. This kept me motivated and determined to keep training harder.
This visualization technique resulted in me creating positive affirmations and a positive “law of attraction.” I believe this technique manifested the actual event to come true.
Another example is when I was recovering from my darkness, after my car accident and broken neck in 2005. After hitting rock bottom, I had to learn these tools all over again, except this time my life depended on it. Looking back on it now, I see my Mr. Colorado training experience was nothing compared to over coming the hell of the winter of 2005-06.
First, I had to create a gratitude list. This was very hard because I felt I had nothing to be thankful for, but I had to reprogram my mind to be positive or I was going to die. So, I started my list by being thankful for a roof over my head, food in my stomach and people who loved me. I thanked God everyday for those three things for a long time. It helped me to focus on positive not so much negative.
The second thing I did every day is, look for someone to help that was hurting. This helped me to get out of myself on a regular basis. The third thing I did everyday was, force myself to speak positively to other people no matter how I was feeling. I may have been dying inside in negativity, but I would smile and say, hey it’s a good day today. I heard a slogan one time that said, “Fake it until you make it,” and that is what I did. It was all about reprogramming my brain chemistry to think and function differently.
And the fourth thing I did is, spend time in the morning and at night visualizing myself being happy, successful, fit, healthy, being in good relationships and being close to God. In reality, I didn’t have any of those things at the time, but I mentally saw myself living this abundant life. I used the same technique I used training for the Mr. Colorado. I did this every day for six months and these things started to happen to me. A year and a half after the actual accident itself, I was in a great romantic relationship, had great friends, was making good money and was closer to God than ever before.
You may think you can’t change your life but you are wrong. It does not matter what your circumstances are, you can make things turn around if you take the time to speak positively at all times. Visualize your life and where you want it to be on a daily basis. Tell yourself three times a day that life is good and it’s a great day. No matter how you truly feel that day, fake it until you make it.
Tell yourself you are worthy of being happy and joyful. List five things you are grateful for every day. No matter how you truly feel. Find someone to help each and every day. If you do these six things every day, I promise your life will get better.

Words that heal
January 18, 2010 by admin

by Deepak Chopra
There is a long tradition, both East and West, about sacred words. We don’t resort to that kind of thing very much in modern life. If you are a devout Catholic you repeat the rosary, and in many sorts of Buddhist and Hindu meditations a mantra is repeated over and over. There are two reasons for this, usually. One is that the repeated words go directly to God, as prayers do. The other is that repetition fills the mind with a deeper intention that can create a good effect.
I wonder if it isn’t time to consider how words can help to heal. I’ve been fascinated for a long time about how to update traditional spiritual practices, and this one is especially promising.
What can a mere word do to heal?
In ordinary life words can be incredibly powerful, creating instantaneous, often dramatic changes in mind and body. Think of the difference between hearing the words “You’re hired” and “You’re fired.” How many lives have been changed by “I love you”? Yet we actually know very little about how to consciously employ the effect that a single word can have.
Let me make some suggestions for you to ponder:
Withhold harsh words: Being honest doesn’t mean being brutal. In the name of telling the truth, we’ve all heard — and said — things we’re sorry were ever uttered. It’s worth remembering that every cell in your body is eavesdropping on the brain, and when you feel hurt or shocked by what you hear, the same shock is occurring to hundreds of billions of cells.
I became a doctor just on the cusp of a big change in this regard. It used to be that physicians hardly ever told fatally ill patients that they were dying, often withholding even the diagnosis. (When the last emperor of Japan died, he was not told his diagnosis — the old practice still holds in other cultures.) It was thought that receiving bad news could hasten a person’s death and impair his chances of recovery. This effect is known as nocebo, the reverse of placebo. In essence, your body metabolized bad news and becomes sicker, or it metabolizes good news and starts to heal.
Today, we believe it is only ethical to give patients full disclosure about their illness, and on the whole that is the right thing to do. But it doesn’t erase the nocebo effect. Leaving medicine aside, consider withholding harsh, harmful truths in daily life. There is no reason to discourage a child, for example, by saying hurtful things.
It’s well known in psychology that descriptive statements (such as “you’re lazy, you can’t be trusted, you’ll never be as smart as your sister,” etc.) make a much deeper impression than prescriptive statements (such as “pick up your room, remember to come home on time, be nice to your sister” etc.) Sometimes a single derogatory sentence from a parent or close friend can remain stuck in the brain for life, serving as a toxic seed that grows into a belief that one will never be good enough, smart enough, or beautiful enough. It’s much harder to remove these seeds than not to plant them in the first place.
Words that heal: Besides holding back on harsh and derogatory words, saying words that heal really works. Offering reassurance in an anxious situation settles people. Reminding someone that they are loved, respected, and valued should be a habit. Such words serve to bond two people together at a deep level if the words are backed up with simple, sincere, believable emotion — not over-stated emotion but natural feeling. We tend to be shy about exposing ourselves emotionally, but only if you try can you gain the benefit.
Then there are words we say only to ourselves, silent words of healing. In the East there are thousands of such formulas, many gathered under the loose term of mantra, that are repeated in order to infuse the mind with their good effect. You can’t get much effect from repeating a word like love, compassion, kindness, and forgiveness when your mind is agitated or filled with the flotsam of everyday life. But if you deepen your awareness through meditation, which brings one’s attention to a level of silence beneath the surface static, then healing words can have quite a strong effect.
It is taught that healing words, when said at a subtle level of the mind, can do several things. They can purify the mind of negative thoughts by introducing a more positive effect (such as replacing “It’s my fault” with “Blame won’t help anybody”). A healing word can bring comfort; it can add a positive element to your surroundings. It can improve your mood and the overall tone of your demeanor, which others will notice and take heed of.
I’m suggesting that healing words need to play a more important role in our lives. This is a vast territory worth exploring. As a society, we’ve become experts at words that definitely don’t heal: gossip, cynicism, skepticism, accusation, partisan wrangling, smear campaigns, and character assassination. As a result, we know all about the bad effects of such words. Why not consider the positive effect of saying words that work in the opposite way?

The Law of Attraction is Working for You Only Because You Are Attracted to it from Love

The law of attraction is not so much a law as it is really only a description of what happens. This great law only ever describes the truth about how life works within God. There is only one substance, and all is one. This is the one great truth.
If this truth is true, how can there be any externally working law of attraction?
One substance just forever is and it cannot attract itself to itself. It is just what it is. God has said the same thing in the bible, I am that I am, or I am who I am. No further description is ever necessary or even possible.
Some of us need to take steps to see this oneness once more again. The law of attraction is one such step that leads us back again to this oneness of love that is living within us at all times trying to be us.
The simplest of metaphors is simply to compare it all to love. When you love you attract love, when you do not love, you still attract love. This is because love is a oneness, and whatever you do, you will always end up only ever attracting love back again to you.
How does this compare to the law of attraction?
Well this law of attraction is a sub component of the law of love. Love’s law simply says that all is love. Love makes up all things.
When you allow the law of attraction to bring you what the love in you requires, it will work in the fastest way for you then. However, when you want something other than only love, it will act to bring you love in the exact ways that you are not wanting it right now by wanting something else.
This law and all laws only ever work under the law of love, and so are always subordinate to it.
If the law of attraction does work then it must be a law affecting only the segregated free parts of oneness. Soul is a part of God created as a free independent part.
How does the law of attraction apply directly to our soul then?
I will use here the metaphor of a force field to describe how the law of attraction actually works.
